I made this honey cake, with a splash of rosemary. Its outstanding. Try it out on a sunny Saturday afternoon with a chammomile tea. Grease and line the base of a cake tin. Put the butter, brown sugar and honey in a small saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of water. Heat gently, stiring once or twice, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves. Leave to cool for 15 mins. Preheat the oven 180C Sift the flour; Baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl and add rosemary. Add the honey mixture and eggs and beat until smooth. Pour into the cake tin and bake for 35-40 mins. Ice with lemon icing and some rosemary flowers. AMAZING!!! Posted in Uncategorized | Comments Off
