Favourite Things: going to the ballet today

Well its the end of an era. As of tomorrow I wont be living in leederville anymore. Which ends 7 years of being in such a fantastic part of town.

I am a big believer in the changing of seasons and my season is changing.

As hard as it is, I am trying to transtion this really well, but its not always that easy.

I found an advert in this months vouge, with Cate Blanchett saying ‘I embrace change…’

I ripped it out and forced myself to say this also. I embrace change. It sounds so new age, but sometimes we just need to tell ourselves these things till we believe it.

I also made a list of the things I wont miss, from carr street. And there are many of them. My sentimental side however gets lost in the romance of settling and staying put.

So as of tomorrow I have a new address. The fan mail will need to be forwarded. SMILE. WINK. WINK.

I’ll be writing from Mt Claremont soon.
